AEROSMITH Is Priciest Act To Ever Come To CALIFORNIA MID-STATE FAIR
April 5, 2007Leah Etling of The San Luis Obispo Tribune reports that this year's California Mid-State Fair will feature the most expensive concert tickets in the fair's history.
AEROSMITH performs on opening night, July 25. Tickets are going for $78, $68 and $52, depending on seat location.
AEROSMITH is the priciest act to ever come to the fair, said Vivian Robertson, the fair's chief executive officer. She would not say how much it is costing to bring the band to Paso Robles.
Previous high-dollar acts at the fair include TIM MCGRAW, who was paid $500,000 for a show in 2004.
The fair's AEROSMITH ticket prices look like a bargain compared to those for some of the legendary band's concert dates this spring. Resale tickets for their April 28 show at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas are going for $300 to $500 online.
